When was the last time you took 2 hours of your life and sat in a salon chair while you had your hair done by someone? Getting your hair done is such a great pick me up, I couldn’t live without it. I am blonde so I tend to be high maintenance and if I haven’t had my hair done it brings me down. It’s not like you can hide it under a bike helmet all day, it’s there on your head for everyone to see and for you to see every time you pass a mirror.
Today is Saturday so make a few calls get yourself booked in somewhere and get some foils in your hair. Why not try something different, go crazy and go fire engine red, ok yeah better not might scare the kids. But seriously getting your hair done, such a simple thing serves a few purposes. It means two possible kid free hours in a chair being pampered while you catch up on all the hot celeb goss, and at the end of it you look fresh and will feel great.
Ways to keep the costs down, ask at the begining so you don’t get a rude shock at the cash register, it’s not like you can give the colour back. Don’t get it blow dried at the end, although it is nice to have dry shiny hair to walk around the shops in if you are just heading home give it a miss and save $40.
If you can’t get out of the house have a go at a home colour job, there are so many out there now if you follow the instructions you should be good. I love the Nice n Easy root touch ups they only go in your hair for 10 minutes and then you are all fixed! Love it! It’s the little things ladies that make such a big difference.
