Ok anytime you have to give up something it can get you all defensive before you even get a chance to learn the benefits of giving it up. Today’s challenge is easier than it sounds because most of us are currently doing things we know deep down we shouldn’t be doing but just can’t seem to give up, or make no effort to give up. I am talking smoking, I am talking alcohol, I am talking chocolate all the good stuff that you like to do but deep down you know you shouldn’t be doing as it’s bad for your health, your wallet or your family.
I have a bit of a bad habit, it’s no secret to those who know me, it’s no secret that I have put Mr Cadbury’s children and grandchildren through university. Yep it’s out there, I am a chocoholic and it has been 5 minutes since my last piece of the delicious shiny brown heavenly milk chocolate. Someone introduced me to the new Marvellous Creations range of Cadbury chocolate, thank you very much, and OMG! It is too good, the worst bit is it is not moulded into traditional squares so when you break some off you end up with a huge piece and then have to eat the whole thing. So I have been buying this chocolate a lot and yes, eating it, um yes eating it all and it has to stop. So I am recognising this bad habit that has crept in to my life and I am here by ending it. I will of course still eat chocolate, I’m not perfect far from it, but I will cut it back because I will end up needing my stomach pumped at this rate.
Have a think about this one, there are so many things to give up, there are so many bad choices we make each day but it’s never too late to correct them. If you’ve wanted to quit smoking or something a bit serious then do your research and make a plan. If it’s something small like, sugar, chocolate, dessert, tanning bed, swearing anything really then make sure you tell all your family so they can help you. Give up one thing you shouldn’t be doing to make room for a healthy habit.

I too eat chocolate every day, but I make sure that it is dark chocolate, with at least 70% cocoa. Thank way, I feel that I am doing something good :D. I also try and limit myself to 2 small squares a day. I try and avoid milk chocolate, because if I start, I won’t stop!

Well up until 4 weeks ago I too was a sensible chocolate eater but it is getting out of hand, it’s my weakness!! R

I understand! I am a chocoholic as well. Will do my best to limit it to once a week, this will be a tough challenge today.

Have to say I am not a huge fan of Marvellous Creations as I prefer the plain Dairy Milk Chocolate but we are selling lots of it!
