When Vitasoy asked me to review their organic bean soymilk range I jumped at the chance. Why Vitasoy? Well, it is made in Australia from Australian grown non-GM soy beans, sourced from a selection of five Australian farmers. These whole soy beans have no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives added. Vitasoy Original also has the goodness of soy protein, and is low GI. Soymilk is a nutritionally superior plant milk as soy has high quality protein containing all the essential amino acids. There’s not much more you can ask for in a milk alternative product; and when it comes to cooking it can be used in all the same ways as cow’s milk whether it’s, coffee, smoothies or breakfast. .Soymilk has a particular taste, as do most alternative products, but like anything new, you soon get used to it. Here I am making a smoothie, testing out my Vitasoy soymilk.

I have soy milk with my chocolate granola every morning (yum). I also must have. Skinny soy latte on a daily basis! Yum!!
Nothing beats a Banana and Honey Soy Smoothie 🙂
My favourite meal to make with soy milk is chunky potato and sweet corn chowder, it’s a delicious filling vegetarian meal to have on a chilly winter night. I always make it with soy milk so we don’t have any upset tummies.
Thanks for the great giveaway!
Awesome give-away 😀
If you add cocoa powder & dates to that smoothie you mentioned then it makes the most amazingly delicious thick chocolate smoothie ever – and THAT is my favourite way to have Vitasoy!
It’s lovely to use soy milk in home-made custard tart, with heaps of vanilla bean, nutmeg and cinammon to compliment the flavour.
Blueberry is good but DATE AND BANANA MUFFINS with a crust of sugar and cinnamon on top are my favourites! I swap VITASOY for regular milk in these recipes.
To be honest, I have never tried soy milk, but I would love too. I would love to try it in the smoothie recipe you have posted. Thank you
Everyone likes the taste of soy milk in our home .
I make superhero smoothie for my son which he loves to drink using 1 cup of soymilk ,1 ripe banana, 2 tbs chopped almonds,1/4 cup blueberries. Its very easy and quick to make – just let everything blend in the blender until creamy.
My favourite is supermum oats…
soak 1 cup of rolled oats in 1 cup of soy milk along with 1tbs honey and few berries and let everything rest in the fridge overnight. In the morning just mix and eat or heat it if you want something warm. This is easy breakfast recipe for me which provides lasting energy.
I would love to win this! Will definitely incorporate the soy milk into my daily meals. I don’t usually drink milk but I absolutely love Vita Soy with its lovely taste.
I enjoy having strawberries blended with soy milk! Of course, I would add some chia seeds on top of it. It’s really simple drinks but taste delicious with soy milk.
As a mum of four little ones (5 and under) I am always trying to find quick, easy meals that fit in with our food allergies so I don’t have to cook multiple meals, I am already short of time as it is! I recently started making breakfast smoothies which is quick, tasty, healthy and we can all drink them. Our favourite is soy milk, banana (frozen/fresh), oats, probiotic powder and sometimes a drizzle of honey. The kids slurp it up in a flash and it’s a great nutritious meal to start the day.
I enjoy having strawberries blended with Soy milk. I will also add some chia seeds on top of it for extra fibre! It’s simple drink but it taste so delicious with soy milk!
oh yummo! i use vitasoy daily for my smoothies. my favourite one at the moment is jeanut butter, mixed berries, soy milk and banana. tastes like peanut butter jelly sambo!
I love using soy milk in smoothies. Our current “favourite of the month” is a choc-nana-berry smoothie, incorporating milk, vanilla icecream, cocoa powder, fresh bananas and fresh strawberries. Delish and refreshing and perfect as an after-school pick-me-up!
Yay soy milk. Vitasoy I haven’t tired yet. But I love soy also almond milk
I like Vitasoy in my carrot cake porridge (oats, Vitasoy, carrot, zucchini, chia, manuka honey, cinnamon and nutmeg) Yum!
Definitely one of the richest flavors of any soy milk. Nothing better than the nutty flavor of VitaSoy mixed with homemade muesli and topped with fresh fruit. Or mixed in as the liquid in a smoothie/milkshake. Long live VitaSoy!
My fave drink with soymilk is a banana smoothie using over-ripe bananas. I mix it with a bit of honey, chili flakes, nutmeg and/or cinnamon, whizz in the blender with some ice, and have myself a healthy bevvie!
