Today I am sharing with you how my Saturday morning went down, with a belly full of Mother Guilt after the last few weeks of life it was time to do something fun with and for the kids.
Ever taken your kids to a play cafe, it’s loads of fun for them but…….. if you leave your cappuccino and go in there with them, the fun multiplies enormously. I love these places I think they are great way to get out of the house while keeping the kids occupied and giving you 5 minutes peace while they play. It’s the funniest thing each time there is a loud cry, you see the Mums pop their heads up, recognise if it is or isn’t their kids cry then carry on talking or be called in to action to rescue an upset 3 year old. My kids cries are often met with a “You’re ok, up you get, off you go!!”.
Here are some pics of us having a blast this morning at our local play cafe. I am sharing these moments as I wanted to use it as motivation towards you gaining your fitness. It just goes to show you don’t have to just sit on a chair bored, get on your hands and knees get involved with the kids while they exercise their little bodies through play you too can sneak in some exercise with out noticing it.
Use these moments with the kids to play with them and enjoy them, because before we know it they wont want anything to do with us. Use these moments with the kids to be silly, enjoy yourself and get some exercise. You say you don’t like the gym, or don’t like running, try playing in a play cafe with the kids for 30 minutes I guarantee you your heart rate will get up and you will get a workout.
