For those of you who have been following you would be familiar with my list of things to achieve this year, if you are new check it out my post on Write A List Of Things To Achieve This Year. I am now so tired I mean proud to have ticked two of them off all in the same weekend! I flew to Sydney on Friday morning, train ride to the Hotel, arrived, checked in, peed, legged it to the Sydney Harbour Bridge ready for my climb! So basically I started it exhausted, but I didn’t let that stop me oh no it was on with the ugly grey suit and up we went!
It was worth the effort, it was awesome to climb that big old steel arch bridge, to realise just how amazing it is. It really is underrated, it really is Australia’s Eiffel Tower. If you have ever thought you would like to do it, or even if you haven’t OMG I really do recommend you do it, it was that good. You learn things like the arch is made of all straight steel beams they are not actually arched it’s just the angles they are all placed on that give it the arch!
We did the twilight tour which starts in the afternoon, you see the sun set and you see Sydney at night. And if your husband is shit scared of heights you get to wet yourself laughing for the entire 3 hour climb! But to his credit, he did it, in fact we even had a blind guy in our group doing it, so if those two can pull it off so can you!
The bridge climb was really great, I am really glad I did it and I am so happy I have ticked it off my to do list!
