SCHOOL BAG ORGANISATION

WITH BACK TO SCHOOL FAST APPROACHING HERE IS AN IDEA TOO GOOD NOT TO SHARE

This is my one claim to fame, my idea on how to organise the kids school bags. This came from memories of school mornings with me and my 3 sisters being yelled at as we couldn’t find our school bags especially on Monday mornings. Then when it got to the point in my house that there were 3 bags that needed to be kept somewhere that the kids knew about and could reach. So I came up with the idea of a purpose built set of hooks on the wall in the hallway outside their bedroom doors. So they come home, do their homework and hang their bags up in their special spot.

Their first letter of their name above their spot is what makes it fun for them to hang their bag up that way everyone knows where their bag goes. We have never had a lost bag or no longer trip over bags on the floor.  The hooks are at little people height so they can be independent and hang their own bag up. Think about the vertical space in your home as it is often over looked. I have hooks up all over the house for things to hang on as it is great for keeping the floor space clear. Try this for a long weekend project that you will be thankful for when school starts.
