We now have two rabbits, as if three kids aren’t enough to feed and keep clean we have now welcomed Tinkerbelle and Chester to our crazy clan! My sister recently moved interstate and was unable to take them with her, so we have adopted the two little Easter bunnies. Tinkerbelle is the fat white one, and Chester is the small brown one.
We didn’t have a Rabbit Hutch and didn’t really want to spend a heap of money buying one so my Husband, who is super handy at making things, had the best idea ever. A few years ago we put in a sand pit and small cubby for the kids, as they got bigger they didn’t go in the cubby as much and it has just sat there. So after spending $30 on some chicken wire and some scrap timber from other projects, he made the most amazing rabbit mansion I have ever seen! These two rabbits are now living in Country Chic style, with high ceilings, a cosy indoor living area with an open fire place, with a spacious shabby chic boudoir, French doors leading to a private outdoor entertaining area perfect for those warm summer nights. 
The kids are very happy with the reno’s and even happier when we let the rabbits out for a run around on the grass. Hopefully we never have to mow the lawn again!
