We’ve all fed our kids chicken nuggets out of convenience, however after I learnt how they are made there was no other option for me than to ditch the convenience and stop being so dam lazy. The below pic is indicative of how most brands of chicken nuggets are made. It isn’t chicken breast like you’d expect, it is in fact chicken slop that is crawling with bacteria, which is then soaked in ammonia, which then would taste like death so it is re-flavoured with more nasty sh*t! At this stage your DNA is probably closer to a chicken than one of these chicken nuggets!
So how do you make your own chicken nuggets? Here is a really easy way that is really healthy. Don’t think you need to go crazy with flour, egg wash and breadcrumbs, the chicken is wet enough to just add the crumbs and have them stick. No mess just pop the crumbs in a container, chop the chicken, add chicken to crumbs, shake, refrigerate, done!
Omega 3 Chicken Nuggets
1. Chop Chicken breast/thigh in to nugget size pieces.
2. Add breadcrumbs to a container with a lid.
3. To make it really healthy add the Omega 3 part by adding LSA and Chia seeds to the crumbs. They will just blend in and no one will even know they are in there. They are now a meal of protein for muscle growth and Omega 3s for brain growth!
4. Add the chopped chicken to the container, shut the lid and shake the container and the crumbs will stick to the wet chicken meat. It’s that easy. Pop in the fridge for a little while help with the bread crumbs sticking.
5. Cook in a shallow fry pan with some Olive Oil until golden brown. Olive oil is adding more Omega 3, see your kids are getting smarter already!
It’s really that simple. Serve with their favourite salad or veggies. So easy, takes 10 minutes to make, 10 minutes to cook! So clean and healthy real bar code, preservative, chemical free food for growing kids. Try it.

So that’s why they call it ‘mystery meat’. The funny thing is I thought the picture was of strawberry soft serve and I couldn’t understand what that had to do with nuggets. So now you’ve put me off ever trying nuggets and I’ll no longer eat ice cream. You’re the best motivator I know.

HAHA!! It’s pretty distressing!! Funny, I am working on a post about how bad the chemicals that flavour products strawberry are! It just gets worse! R
