Recently I received a gift bag of Lucky Nuts to review and share my thoughts with my readers. This is an unpaid review so it’s all true and not set up! I volunteered for this review as you know I am big fan of including nuts in your diet everyday because nuts add delicious flavours to your food and your cooking not only that they are so good for you. Each nut is a powerhouse of nutrients in its own special way. The other great thing here is Lucky nuts are grown in Australia in orchards in the Sunraysia and Riverina districts.
So I decided to try the new Lucky Easy Chef Almond Crumble and make it to a flour free Apple crumble, so here we have ditched the carbs in exchange for Vit E and Protein!
You Will Need:
1 200g Pack Lucky Easy Chef Almond Crumble
5 x Granny Smith Green Apples (or cheat and use canned apples)
80g Butter
3Tbs Brown Sugar
Slice and Cook the apples. Place in a baking dish. Chop up butter. Mix in sugar and almond meal to make the crumble. Sprinkle crumble on the apples. Pop in the oven 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Done. That easy.
Now don’t ruin our hard work here and serve with ice cream or cream, serve it with blue berries, or strawberries with a dob of Greek yogurt. Yummo and most definitely a healthier alternative if you needed to bake a dessert for a Christmas dinner. Try it, it tastes light and nutty by ditching the flour it really is yummy.
