Mister 8 has started showing an interest in learning to read a clock face, about time kiddo get out of your digital world for 5 minutes I say. So to make things a little bit easier as it isn’t confusing enough, then you throw in roman numerals, I’ve broken it down for the little guy.
Sticky notes are now surrounding the clock explaining what’s actually going on in that little black circle. Four things for kids to learn, the To side, the Past side, the Small Hands job and the Big Hands job.
Since the sticky notes went up, he is already telling me “Mum hurry up we are going to be late for school it’s 8:30!”. I liked it better when he had no idea and I was running the show!
