HOW TO MAKE A TRUCKING AWESOME BOYS BIRTHDAY CAKE

I’ve shared my love of birthday cakes with you already with Little Miss 5s Fairy Castle Cake so now I am sharing Mr 2’s birthday cake. Get’s a little crazy here in January as their birthday’s are 3 days apart so this means two birthday parties in one day. This works well while they are little and have no clue, not sure how long I can pull that scam off for however!

Mr 2 was easy he is going through the whole “truck Mummy look Mummy truck Mummy” phase so it was clear to me what kind of cake to make. But I kind of cheated and put the cake in a truck! Truck $10 from K-Mart cake $4 from Cole’s (made), decorated with chocolate icing, crushed Oreo biscuits and a Flake. Equals mud in the back of the truck! How cool!

Mr 2 loved his cake and the truck is now out in the sand pit. Not back for under $15 and it includes a gift. What do you think?

LOVE IT!…..Just sorry my son is 8 and a bit too big now for dump trucks….I love doing novelty cakes (yes despite also turning into a “mad cake women”) – maybe I will offer to make a cake for a friend’s little boy so I can do a dump truck 🙂

Cool, I bought a toy digger and stuck it ontop of a cake and added some crushed up flake and some little Choc covered honeycomb pieces that looked like rocks for my sons birthday and it was a big hit too
