Healthy Easter Treats For Mums

Everybody love’s chocolate, but everybody knows you can’t stop at once piece, so try this little idea this Easter

I know right there is chocolate everywhere, it’s in your face, it’s in your fridge, it’s in your mouth. Come Sunday there is probably going to be a whole lot more chocolate in your home. You can not deprive yourself of chocolate but you can find a healthier alternative especially for this weekend.

Here is what I have made, dark chocolate with a dash of coconut oil, then dipped in some strawberries and raspberries. Raspberries are great for something different, you could use blue berries, sliced kiwi, banana, anything you like. Might seem like a lot of work but really it’s chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute, then stir in the coconut oil, then dip the fruit. Pop it in the fridge or freezer and now have a much healthier alternative to much on while the kids eat the ears off their bunnies.

Enjoy

Renee

I saw a great idea the other day that is similar to this. Dip strawberries in white chocolate but colour the white chocolate orange with food colouring. Dip the whole strawberry in up to the top. With the green leaves on top they end up looking like little carrots. You could use a toothpick or knife to draw little rings around the carrots too. Super cute and still relatively healthy!
