When you are craving pizza next, because we all do at times, have a think about this idea. Home made mini pizzas give you the yummy taste of pizza yet without the artery clogging fat and salt. It is so easy to make in our house it’s kids cook night and they love making these mini pizzas. No fluffing around with dough here just easy peasy pizzas.
You Will Need:
Packet Wholemeal Pita Breads (Buy them when they are on sale and freeze)
Pasta Sauce or Tomato paste (whatever you have in the fridge)
Topping: Ham/Chicken/Cheese/Pineapple/Tomato/Capsicum/Mushrooms (anything you want, anything you have in the fridge/pantry) you really can’t get this wrong.
Lay out the pita breads (even if frozen they come good in the oven). Spread with tomoato pasta sauce or tomato paste. Add your favourite toppings. Pop in the oven 150 degrees for 15 minutes, done. That easy. Probably takes 20 minutes total.
These are so easy get the kids involved. You can also use english muffins as the base. These in the pic only had what I had in the house last night. You could go crazy adding any veggies you wanted to make it even healthier, ethier way this is better than a greasy pizza yet still tastes just as good.
