Oh, that got your attention didn’t it? Today I wanted to share some health tips I picked up from none other than Miranda Kerr, yeah her and I often catch up and discuss being a Mum since we both had our recent babies at the same time, ok I don’t really I heard these ideas in an interview I saw online. So I figured this chick knows what to put in her body as it is her business, if she breaks out with one zit or develops one cellulite dimple in her 15 year old arse she is screwed so she would know her shit. Here’s what I’ve learnt and here’s how it’s worked out for me.
Chlorophyll. “What’s that?” you ask, Chlorophyll is the green pigment found in plants that transforms the suns energy into nutrients. Without it the plants lose their colour and vitality, come on you learnt that in science right! So it is a natural product that when consumed by humans it can help to detox your bowel, liver, kidney and blood. It’s like an internal cleanser, it eliminates heavy metals and toxins in your blood stream. It’s made up similar to haemoglobin and acts the same in that it helps carry the oxygen in your blood giving you more energy. Best taken first thing on an empty stomach so it can do its magic, I take it every morning and I swear I have more energy. Google it for yourself and learn of all its benefits, you will want to try this.
Bee Pollen. As the queen bee of your colony you are going to want to get on to this new trend. I am new to bee pollen I have only been trying it out for about four weeks and I can really notice its benefits, even if I am only getting a ‘placebo effect’ then so be it as I love this stuff. It’s another naturally occurring super food that has been consumed by humans for centuries. It promises to boost your stamina, energy, strength and speed up your recovery time. These little granules contain vitamins, minerals, amino acids, the list just goes on. At first it is a strange taste, strange feeling eating it but now I love it and actually look forward to it. Google it for yourself so you can understand it better as chances are you have never heard of it, but I give it two huge thumbs up this stuff is great! I have it every morning for after my Really Great Breakfast and I have more energy than a toddler, well somedays! If you are allergic to bees give it a big miss, when you buy it ask how to get started using it from the supplier.
Coconut Oil. Coconut had a bad name for a while because it was considered to have a high fat content, but science has since caught up and the fat is actually unique and quite different from most fats. It has healing properties and is high in vitamins, minerals and fiber, and lots of medicinal properties. The ailments this oil is said to assist with are too numerous to list on here so make sure you Google it to learn for yourself. The one promise I like is it kills viruses like the flu, so I have been taking a tea spoon of it each morning with the bee pollen (see pic above) and I haven’t looked back, it is very yummy.
Almond Milk. As you can tell I like to try new products that I find and my latest find is almond milk, I have been having it in my oats every morning. Almond Milk is an alternative to cows milk that has less fat, and has great amounts of vit A, E and D. The vitamins A and E are great for your skin, so if you have any skin issues this is one to try. Only thing that let me down was cows milk has the most protein, however almond milk has less cholesterol. I am loving the benefits of the vit E so I will keep having it for breakfast and the odd smoothie in the afternoon.
Don’t be afraid to try new things and think outside the square when it comes to your health. Jump on the net and Google things that you have heard of, or pop in to a health food shop and just have a look around, ask questions, educate yourself on better ways to look after your health.
I have zero qualifications with regards to nutrition and diet, I just love to practice a healthy lifestyle and eat clean natural healthy foods. I do my own research and these are all just my opinions that I want to share with you what has worked for me. None of this is any kind of paid or arranged product review, I just want to share what works for me and what I have learnt.
