Unless you have been living under a rock you would have noticed Halloween is sneaking in to Australian shops more than years gone by. My kids love the idea of Halloween and since you are only young once I figured who cares if it is just some American thing, it is a bit of fun, it’s all over their TV shows and now it’s here in Australia. Each Halloween we have been getting more and more Trick-or-Treaters knocking at the door, it’s fun to see them dressed up and each time the door bell rings the kids run to the door screaming in laughter.
I had a cute little idea for the kids to make some Halloween biscuit’s that I thought I’d share. All you need is a packet of Arrow Root biscuit’s, icing sugar, yellow and red food colouring, chocolate drops for eyes and chocolate icing in a tube to draw with. All can be found in the baking section of your supermarket.
Make the orange icing, ice the biscuit’s, while still wet add the chocolate drops for eyes. When that has dried make the little jack-o-lantern pumpkin faces. Doesn’t cost more than $5 and the kids will love it.
