Today I wanted to share my weekend bathroom modification that I had been dreaming up for ages, sad I know I have a pretty simple life! The kids bathroom towel rack really only had room to hang up two towels and news flash I now have three kids and it did really annoy me. The kids would also struggle to hang their towels up after a bath and they’d end up on the floor so I came up with the perfect solution! This is the before shot, probably most people would be happy with the way it looked but not this little black Organising Compulsive Duck!
So I had an idea in my mind of what could work and looked online for what I wanted. I found these great French looking hooks that each came with a capital letter so they were perfect for what I needed. I ordered them and waited patiently for them to arrive, they did so up they went and check it out, my new awesome towel hooks. The kids love them and they now know where to hang their towels up.
Such a simple idea has made our bathroom more practical, kid friendly and I think looks a million bucks. Don’t be afraid to think outside the square a little bit with these sorts of things, if something isn’t working for you or you hate the wall mounted anything’s that came with the house, you are not stuck with them have some fun and put your own signature on your home.
I have put these hooks at kid height to make it that bit more inviting for them to return their towels to the correct spot. So it looks good and is educational for little people learning their letters and I no longer have to go around the house picking up wet towels off beds! Get creative in your home and make it kid friendly and Mum happy!

That looks awesome. Wouldn’t work in my house though as all my children have the same first initial ‘J’.
Thanks Chrissy!! Have a look at my post ‘School Survival Secrets’ (search in Organisation or School/kindy). I have a spot also at kid height with letters above hooks for them to hang their bags up. You could use different colour Js!!! R
