My first post on organisation, it was bound to happen sooner or later! See I love organising things, it’s some kind of undiagnosed OCD I’m sure, but that’s ok as I use it to my advantage. There has been one area that I just haven’t got around to fixing and it bothers me now and again, and this morning when the kids couldn’t find the remote control for the 20th time I couldn’t get to the Reject Shop fast enough.

Something had to be done, I mean it’s not my area, I never touch the Play Station or the Wii but it still bugs me when I see this drawer open. It also bugs me when I plonk my butt on the couch and realise I have just given birth to a PS3 hand controller. You are looking at the before shot here, the big bad boys drawer of boyness!
So it was off to the Reject Shop to get some supplies. I found these great clear hard plastic shoe boxes for $2 each, they are exactly the width of a DVD so I bought four! I also bought a little basket to put the TV remote control, and the two PlayStation 3 hand controllers in.
After
Next thing was getting everything out of the drawer, with Little Miss 4 picking up everything I touched! After a quick five minute clean up of long lost DVDs and games it all started to look like I had dreamt of all this time! Now the question is how long will it stay like it? I give it a fortnight!
